Great Strides with the DSA

On May 17, 2008, Team DSA will walk in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides Walk.

Join the DSA team and register to walk on May 17. You can also donate to the DSA team. The walk is at 8 a.m. at DeAnza Cove.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a devastating genetic disease that affects tens of thousands of children and young adults in the United States. Research and care supported by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is making a huge difference in extending the quality of life for those with CF. However, we continue to lose precious lives to CF every day. That’s why your help is needed now more than ever to ensure that a cure is found sooner - rather than later. May is Memorial Month

Ceremonies take place throughout the month

National Police Week is May 11-17, with flags being flown half staff on May 15. The California memorial ceremony takes place May 8-9. San Diego’s regional memorial ceremony will be held May 7.
