San Diego Deputies Go Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
The San Diego County Sheriff's Department joined the Pink Patch Project. Deputies around the county have donned a pink patch to promote Breast Cancer Awareness and spur dialogue with community members about the disease and the importance of early detection. Proceeds raised from the sale of the pink patches will benefit breast cancer research at Scripps Research Institute.
Firearms Transactions Week of 10/16/17
Having completed the employee changes for the FFL, the DSA is back up and running with gun sales, DROS, and deliveries. Hours will be limited for the week of October 16, returning to normal the week of October 23.
Lonny Brewer Memorial Raffle

December 5, 2017, will mark the 30th anniversary of the tragic death of Deputy Lonny Gene Brewer. In honoring this hero, the Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, in conjunction with the Association of Special Enforcement, will be replacing his current headstone. Support this great project and help remember Lonny by entering a raffle to win a Wilson Combat CBQ Commander.
