Three of the Board of Directors are elected by the Class 1 members each January, with each serving a three year term. The President, Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer are elected by the Board of Directors from the seated Board and each office is a two year term.

William Law

Director


William Law was born and raised in San Diego County. After graduating high school in 1983, he joined the US Navy. He is still an active reservist serving as a Corpsman. Currently a Chief Petty Officer stationed with 3rd ANGLICO, USMC, William has had three tours in Iraq.

An 18 year veteran of the San Diego Sheriff’s Department, William is currently working as a K9 handler at Descanso Jail. He is curently with his fourth dog.

William lives in East County with his beautiful wife Heather of 8 years. They have a wonderful daughter named Heléna.
As a DSA Director, he looks forward to helping out with the upcoming negotiations and serving the membership to the best of his abilities.
