  • San Marcos School Board Proposition K - Measure K, if approved by voters, will allow the school board of the San Marcos Unified School District to borrow $287 million to repair aging, deteriorating classrooms/schools, attract quality teachers and offset State cuts by: removing asbestos, lead paint, repairing roofs, plumbing, wiring; preventing overcrowding; upgrading instructional technology, libraries, science labs; improving seismic, fire and student safety; and improving disabled access.

The DSA has endorsed Steve Danon for County Supervisor in the 2012 election.


PAC Committee

The Deputy Sheriffs' Association of San Diego County is registered as a State General Purpose Political Action Committee with Fair Political Practices Commission. Our Political Action Committee (PAC) fund is supported by payroll deductions of members and through fund raising activities. You may opt-out of payroll deductions by contacting the DSA Office.

Salaries, benefits, community images, equipment, and negotiations are all accomplished through the political process. Make your voice heard by supporting your association's political action committee.

The Political Action Committee is chaired by Guy Chambers and Tim Petrachek and includes Tammy Bennetts, Matt Clay, Dawn Patterson, Tony Ray, and Elizabeth Robles .
