A variety of other scholarships exist for law enforcement members and their family

dependents

California Alarm Association The 2012 CAA/ESA Youth Scholarship Program offers $20,000 in funds to children of active duty law enforcement and fire service personnel in the State of California who are graduating from high school. There are 11 regional awards, one statewide award, and two national awards.

CLEA CLEA provides four scholarships each year to high school and college students who are dependents of DSA members who have been enrolled in the LTD Plan for at least one year. Applications and information available online

Wives Behind the Badge The scholarship provides financial assistance for the higher educational needs of the children (natural or adopted) of law enforcement officers. Application and information available online.


SURVIVORS OF DUTY RELATED DEATHS

CALIFORNIA PEACE OFFICERS' MEMORIAL FOUNDATION JOHN F. DUFFY SCHOLARSHIP/GRANT PROGRAM Dependents of California peace officers who have died in the line of duty are eligible to receive annual scholarships from the California Peace Officers’ Memorial Foundation. Dependents of California officers who have died in the line-of-duty, regardless of how long ago, are eligible for the scholarships. Entries for the school year must be received by June 1.

Dinner Dance ‘16
