Law Enforcement Scholarships

Information for 2006 deadlines will be posted as information is released.


Current Peace Officers

The San Diego County Law Enforcement Foundation (LEF) is offering scholarships to outstanding law enforcement officers who are interested in graduate level education that will enhance their managerial skills in law enforcement.  If you are interested, please complete the application that is attached and return it to the San Diego County Law Enforcement Foundation prior to March 15, 2005.  (The return address for LEF is at the end of both attachments.)  Scholarships will be awarded in July 2005.

CLEA CLEA provides four (4) scholarships each year to high school and college students who are dependents of DSA members who have been enrolled in the LTD Plan for at least one year. Applications may be obtained by calling 1-800-832-7333 and must be return postmarked no later than April 1, 2006. see flyer

PORAC Current information is not available online, but the deadline is usually April 1. Please contact Grace Reese at PORAC Headquarters at 1-800-937-6722 to receive your application. 

SURVIVORS OF DUTY RELATED DEATHS

CPOMF Dependents of California officers who have died in the line-of-duty, regardless of how long ago, are eligible for the scholarships. Applications are not based on sex, age, race, creed, national origin, or religious preference, or restricted based upon the applicant's field of endeavor. Entries for the 2005-2006 school year must be received by April 1, 2006. Applications may be obtained by contacting Roger Mayberry, Scholarship Committee Chair, P.O.
